Hello all

Less then four months to go! (just a little panic edging in)

Had my first long ride of the season yesterday . . . or should I say the first longer ride of the season. Apparently both Anita and I can’t quite figure out how to ride around Lake Muskoka and ended up at Mortimer Point and a dead end. (Map . . . we don’t need no stinking map)

Anyway, we did get back on track and battled a head wind all the way back. A bit over a 100k and a little sore this morning . . .so yes! there is work to do!

The new bike feels great too!

While I am trying to limit the social calendar to only include active ventures there are other events that are creeping into the schedule . . .Mother’s Day, the Boys Weekend in Algonquin Park, the Tragically Hip in Toronto, Neil Young last week in Kingston . . . but balancing these events with a 10 k run on May 4th and a whole lot of other 100 k bike days. Also in the plans is a three to four day bike trip on Manitoulin Island in early July.

Not to forget is the Cameron Helps walk in Mississauga on June 21st.

Living in a beer commercial without the beer . . .this training is killing me!

And just for fun . . . a photo Johnny took of me at the Neil Young concert last week.

Cheers

David Riathby
